Common Side Effects of Requip for Early Parkinson's Disease

Requip has been studied extensively in clinical trials. In these studies, side effects are always documented. The most common side effects of Requip for early Parkinson's were:
 
  • Dizziness (40 percent)
  • Nausea (60 percent)
  • Excessive tiredness, which is known as somnolence (40 percent).
     
Other common side effects of Requip in early Parkinson's patients (occurring in more than 5 percent of patients) were:
 
  • Headache
  • Vomiting
  • Fainting (syncope)
  • Fatigue
  • Indigestion (dyspepsia)
  • Viral infection
  • Constipation
  • Pain
  • Increased sweating
  • Weakness (asthenia)
  • Swelling
  • Dizziness, nausea, sweating, or fainting when standing up from either a sitting or lying down position
  • High blood pressure (hypertension)
  • Abdominal pain
  • Sore throat (pharyngitis)
  • Confusion
  • Hallucinations
  • Urinary tract infection (UTI)
  • Vision problems.
     

Other Side Effects of Requip for Early Parkinson's Disease
